Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football that played in the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran playing on the field. Regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in history, he is the NFL's all-time leader in reception yards and receiving yards for a tight-end, as well as ranked third overall in receiving
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL the SUNRISE) and is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on the 15th of March 2013. He signed a contract that was of $14 million for two years, regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he would retire after the season. Randy Moss retired in 2013 as did Gonzalez, who was 37 when he left, spent the last year of his playing career as the NFL leader for receiving yards.
