Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural clinical social worker, with more than 13 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. She has worked in number of different settings, including dealing with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues as well as survivors of sexual assault and partners who have been victimized. She has been working with Ms. Rivas serves Erie Patients as of the year the year 2019. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal Team that assists post-partum and prenatal mothers, provides trauma-informed therapy for adults and is a specialist in trauma care. She offers individual and group counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Treatment Program, referrals for special care facilities, as well as women's support groups. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever new homes. She believes in the motto from Best Friends, "Save Them All", and she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city which doesn't harm animals. Amanda gets the most enjoyment out of each day and constantly pushes herself to reach the goals she has set and to achieve the goals she has set for herself.
